Now for a few "new" guys to the OMA Series... KTM FMF's Factory secret weapon, Russell Bobbitt and Factory Husaberg's Nick Fahringer. Russell Bobbitt coming off his 2011 National Enduro Championship, Congratulations KTM and Russell ! , both factory riders have committed to running the entire 2012 OMA Series. We look forward to having Nick Fahringer back, always a great guy to have around the track.

For 2012 OMA will once again cut back one round from the series for the atv's … round 4 - Mesick, Michigan . The decision to cut the ATV series back to 9 rounds was due to several reasons, and this also assist racers following the series less travel expense and travel. There will be the same amount of throw aways for nine rounds as 10, three for amateurs, and One for Pros.

Team Epic's John Pitts (2010 & 1011 OMA Champion) and Bryan Hulsey, former OMA Champion will be returning to the Pro ATV class, we can announce a few more ATV Pro racers that will be running the 2012 Series, Craig Fallis and Bo Jones have confirmed they will be running, along with a few more Pro racers, and we are looking forward to seeing John and Bryan to have a bit more challenge for 2012. Place your bets people, Saturday is looking up for some good racing! We welcome all ATV racers to bring it to the Epic Boys, the entry fee has been reduced from 2010 to $60 to bring more onto the starting row.

On the motorcycle side… Pros year end qualification for 2012 has been revised to the original amount of throw aways and you can only miss one round to qualify for the year end Parts Unlimited purse. We scheduled around both the GNCCs and the National Enduros so there will be no rounds conflicting with these series for the racers to be limited on the OMA events to qualify for the series purse award.

OMA will be co-sanctioning with several series this year, and would like to give them recognition for their support. A.H.S.C.S. (Arkansas Hare Scramble Championship Series), JML Promotions, I.E.R.A. (Iowa Enduro Riders Asso), Twin Bay Trail Riders, Super Nationals XC Series, along with the OMA Winter Nationals, and the MXC Series (both series affiliated with UOR Racing). We at OMA look forward from the regional support of these co-sanctioning bodies.

OMA will be running 50cc motorcycle classes at select events, rounds 3, 4, 6, 8 and 9. There will be mini atv classes (70cc & 100cc) ran at these rounds: 1, 3, 4, 6, 8 and 9. We will do year end awards for these classes. There is only one 50cc class, no more age brackets for this class bracket. There will - Not - be a 50cc motorcycle class ran at round 1 in Alabama while co-sanctioning with the OMA Winter Series. Due to the lack of support in this event, this class has been canceled. However the mini ATV classes will run at round 1.

One note to the Professional racers: Blue backgrounds and yellow numbers, Mandatory!

The official scoring system of the OMA Nationals is a transponder system. Transponders will be available for purchase or rent, $10 buy / $5 rent.

OMA would like to announce our new graphics sponsor Stuk Graphix on board! Britt Hebenstreit an OMA A class racer himself, has officially launched his new graphics company, and we highly recommend racers to support Stuk Graphix, Britt is one you, a complete Off Road enthusiasts! You can contact him at stukgraphix@yahoo.com or 217-556-3051 for more information. Stuk Graphix's website will be launched soon. As of now you can catch him on Facebook

OMA would like to add that our former graphics sponsor Spider Graphix was are Great company and great people to work with, we would also like to mention that they did the OMA Nationals and our racers with the utmost respect and they are a "very" professional company who does "phenomenal prompt" work. Our decision to work with Britt was personal, Britt is our personal buddy and we are looking forward to assisting him and his new company to be successful for him. As far as OMA is concerned there are only 2 graphics companies in this industry worth doing business with... Spider and Stuk Graphix. Unfortunately Johnny Signs has moved on from mx graphics, but OMA also retains a great personal relationship with Bob and Jake Fiddler.

There will again be plenty of swag for racers to shoot for, thanks to both new and returning sponsors like Moose Racing, Maxxis, FMF Racing, Rekluse, Stuk Graphix, DP Brakes, Motion Pro, SIDI, Wiseco, Race Tech, Dirt Tricks, RK Chain/Excel. Long time loyal partners and friends, Moose Racing has been supporting the sport of off-road racing more so than any other riding gear manufacturer. Please remember those who support you and your sport the most. Manufacturers offering contingency awards include Can-Am (ATV racers only), Kawasaki, KTM, Yamaha, and Maxxis CASH contingency program will be returning for 2012. Do not forget to get your registrations and requirements filled out completely for these manufacturers to qualify for these programs.

Once again all sponsors still a part of the industry have resigned with OMA… PARTS UNLIMITED/MOOSE RACING, MAXXIS, FMF, SIDI, MOTION PRO, DP BRAKES, REKLUSE, RACE TECH, and many more.

We are very proud to announce our long term running partnerships with these companies and hope to keep them as partners for many years to come.
